A Community Request
Christine Hall and her husband have been readers here for many years. You might recall descriptions of their ministry in Ethiopia some time ago. At any rate, her husband was finally granted a visa to the USA. Unfortunately, shortly after he arrived he had a heart attack. He survived but must undergo medical procedures for the next few months in the Washington D.C. area. Christine is in England. She is flying to the USA to be with him on June 30. But they have no place to stay. He is presently with his sister in a one bedroom apartment. Christine is asking if anyone in the Washington D. C. area knows of a short term accommodation (3 months). Vacation rentals like Air B&B are just too expensive for them. They need something else.
So, if any of you know of a place in D.C., or if you have any ideas that would help them find a reasonable place, please contact Christine:

We are praying and forwarding this to my brother and sister-in-law who lived in the D.C. for a long time and still have many contacts there. May YHVH provide!
Here is my brother’s response to my appeal that he forward this request to their contacts, including a friend and widow of a long-time family friend of ours who lives in the D.C. area: “I passed it on to two couples who know a lot about BCC’s ministries (Burke Community Church, their former congregation) and other support groups in the DC area, and they both know Xxxxx (friend’s name) well, if that’s an appropriate avenue to address.”
