A Year End Review
I thought you might be interested in what happened financially with At God’s Table and Children Under the Bridge in the partial-pandemic (sort of) year of 2022.
Here’s the overview.
- Donors to At God’s Table dropped by 132 people. There are now 275 contributors. I am sure a lot of this is the result of inflation and crunches to budgets, but I am VERY glad to have 275 supports.
- Children Under the Bridge had 91 supporters a year ago. Now there are 78, many who also contribute to At God’s Table (above).
- With the reduction in donors there has also been a reduction in donations to At God’s Table and to Children Under the Bridge. The good news is that we are still operating and going forward. Thank you all who donated.
- The average donation per person (excluding one very significant donor) was $354. But the average doesn’t tell the real story. 94 people on the list gave less than $100 per year. 120 people gave between $100 and $500 per year. The remaining 60 people gave the majority of the donations. THANK YOU SO MUCH, EVERYONE!
- Children Under the Bridge received a very large single donor amount which is being used to provide sustainable income for the program independently from the usual ministry effort. This is critical because at some point the entire program needs to be self-funding. It may take a few more years but that is the goal.
- My in-person lecturing only included a few places in 2022 and will probably be less in 2023. This was the result of COVID restricted travel and my desire to cut back on the hours in airplanes. Fortunately, the online teaching continues to be well attended. The book studies at the separate web site (ivebeenskipped.com) have been very successful.
- Once again, many thanks to all of you for your willingness and support. None of the efforts of At God’s Table or Children Under the Bridge would happen without you.

With that attempt at leaving PayPal, we cancelled our donations in November to switch to the new system which didn’t work well. Our December was high-paced chaos (January, too) and we didn’t get resubscribed into PayPal. I will correct that today! I hope anyone else who was challenged this way has fixed thier status. We remain SO VERY GRATEFUL for AGT and the work of CuB!
Yes, I know the PayPal scare caused a lot of problems. There just isn’t another pay system that provide the data I need for donor accounting. Sorry. But glad you are back
